Prototype Monitoring and Testing

As the prototypes are tested under real-world use conditions they will undergo continuous monitoring. Temperature, moisture, and pH data will be collected and recorded regularly. In addition, each toilet will include an arduino-powered use data logging system, which will record date and time stamped records of each use. Users will be surveyed for feedback, impressions, and suggestions. Finally, the resulting compost will be tested for chemical composition, pathogens, and parasites. All of this collected information will guide the continued refinement of the design.
